AI Chatbot only: you also need a free license key to activate the visual. AI is included out of the box — no API key needed (bringing your own key stays available as an optional path). For the chart visuals there is nothing to activate: the free tier just works, and premium features are licensed per user through AppSource.
Install in Power BI Desktop
- Download the .pbiviz file using a button above.
- Open your report in Power BI Desktop.
- In the Visualizations pane, click the … (more options) button, then choose Import a visual from a file.
- If prompted with a security warning about custom visuals, click Import.
- Select the downloaded .pbiviz file.
- The visual's icon appears in the Visualizations pane — add it to your report canvas.
- Drag your fields into the visual's data wells and you're up and running.
Install in Power BI Service (web)
- Open a report in Edit mode in the Power BI Service.
- In the Visualizations pane, click … → Import a visual from a file and upload the .pbiviz.
- Add the visual and connect your fields.
Note: a file-imported visual does not auto-update. When a new version is released, download it here and re-import to upgrade. Visuals installed from AppSource update automatically.

Using it in a managed organization
If your tenant is configured to allow certified visuals only, an imported .pbiviz may be blocked. In that case, ask your Power BI / Fabric administrator to add the visual to your Organizational visuals store, which makes it available regardless of the certified-only setting.
